haha......we had waited for 3 months for this trip.....and we finally did it on SEP 19 2004........it was a sunny sunday morning.......samson drove his car....with jessica ( of course la they are couple mahz) sitting besides him....TL (Tien-Lyn) and Shuxia (SX) and EC (EngChuen) sitting at the back......they came around 1015am to pick me up from my house....then we went to this HK restaurant to have brunch ....I ordered macaroni with chicken soup + charsiu (this is very interesting... :P ...) with milk tea.....later on we got into our car and we were on our way to the zoo......it is not that far from the place we had our brunch....it was like 10 minutes driving.....we reached the zoo at around 1230pm.....we saw a lot of family with children....and it looked like we were the only 'youngster' at the zoo 8-) ........
the zoo ticket is expensive.....$18 + GST ......there was no ticket....we just paid and the receipts were used as our tickets ..... we didn't even get the zoo's map.....we had to ask for that......and the funny thing was that....no one was checking our tickets at the entrance .......
we noticed that there would be an animal show at 2pm.....so we decided to walk around for a while....coz it was still early for the show......when we were at the reptile section of the zoo....it was already 2.10pm.....the show had started! :-O ...so we quickly rush to this 'coliseum' for the show......arh! the gate was lock (actually it didn't) ...... we were looking around for the zoo staffs so that they could open the gate and let us in.....but there was any zoo staffs around...we were complaining about it....coz we paid $18 and there is only 1 zoo show for that day......then samson found out that actually the gate didn't lock.....the padlock just happened to be there and it looked like the gate had been lock.......haha.....so...we 'unlock' the gate with our barehand.....and we got into the coliseum....so we sit there and waited for some wild animals to come into the show....
aih....you know what.....they only showed us 1 eagle....and 1 ferret...and later on was photo taking time.......TAT"S IT!!! :-S so so so 'giam siap"....cannot tahan!! tat's what they have in the zoo?? can't believe this.....
most of the animals were tired...I don't know why....they were sleeping all the time......can't really see them clearly......and the poor thing was that.....a lot of the animals...such as the giraffe and red panda were alone......they hv no friends and family...... :-(
we walked in the zoo for 5 hours straight.......we were so tired and hungry......
we went to metro square and had steamboat (the same one we hv been to last time) ...... ...
